Injuries have made life tough for Luton boss Rob Edwards and relegation is all but certain.

- Both teams have scored in 15 of Luton's last 16 Premier League games
- Fulham have scored only one first-half goal in their last six away matches
- Recommended bet: Luton to win 1st Half

Luton kick off the final day of the Premier League season three points from safety, but Nottingham Forest's goal difference advantage of 12 means the Hatters are effectively down.

Last season's Championship play-off winners have been more competitive than many pundits expected, but injuries have taken their toll on Rob Edwards' squad during the run-in.

Fulham have had another solid campaign under Marco Silva, although they have won only three matches away from Craven Cottage this term and will be keen to add to that tally at Kenilworth Road.

Team news

Luton midfielder Ross Barkley and defender Reece Burke have joined a lengthy list of injury absentees, including Marvelous Nakamba, Dan Potts, Tom Lockyer, Mads Andersen, Amari'i Bell, Jacob Brown and Issa Kabore.

Fulham centre-back Issa Diop is suspended following his red card against Manchester City.

Tosin Adarabioyo and Calvin Bassey should start in the heart of defence and Sasa Lukic is the Cottagers' only injury doubt.

Marco Silva will hope to see Fulham finish with a fourth away win of the Premier League season.

The stats

Both teams have scored in 15 of Luton's last 16 Premier League games, while Town have scored in 14 of their last 15 defeats.

The Hatters have conceded 53 of their 81 league goals in the second half of matches.

Fulham have won only one of their last eight league games.

Only three of the Cottagers' 12 victories this season have come away from home and they have scored only one first-half goal in their last six away matches.

Prediction

It would take an incredible pair of final-day results at Kenilworth Road and Turf Moor, where Nottingham Forest face relegated hosts Burnley, for Luton to stay up.

However, the Hatters have given their fans some memorable moments this season and they should be backed to make a fast start against poor travellers Fulham.

Luton have beaten Newcastle, Brighton, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace at home this term and Liverpool needed an injury-time equaliser to avoid defeat at Kenilworth Road in November.

The Hatters' seven home defeats to top-half clubs were all by a one-goal margin and Arsenal and Aston Villa's winning goals came in the 96th and 89th minutes.

Luton's limited resources mean they have been particularly hard hit by injuries and it is no surprise that 38 of the 81 goals they have conceded came in the final half-hour of matches.

They may well run out of steam again on the final day but they are worth backing to lead at half-time, with a raucous home crowd cheering them on against opponents who have nothing to play for.

Fulham have scored only one first-half goal in their last six away games and they were 3-0 down at the break in last month's defeat at struggling Forest.
